A new kind of garden workshop…

Combining design and plant knowledge with a sustainable horticultural approach to plant selection and management, these workshops aim to give you a foundation of knowledge and skills to apply to your own garden spaces.

Each workshop can be attended in isolation if you want to expand your knowledge on a specific subject or you can use the series to gain an all-encompassing insight into what makes our gardens so important to us, the wildlife, landscapes and world around us.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about how to use and maintain shrubs.

Getting to know your soil

Understanding your garden’s growing conditions are the keys to knowing what will grow best in your garden. This session is perfect for newbie gardeners or those who would like to know more about their soil types and border aspects.

Plants for shade

In this session we will look at determining how much light our borders receive during the day and focus on planting palettes for shadier aspects. Whether you are an experienced gardener or a newbie, this session will be useful for getting to know what plants will do well in challenging places.
